Spatial Planning analyses for WTGs in areas or regions, based on use of existing GIS data, is a new service offered to local planning authorities, counties, municipalities or developers. We offer 3 interrelated spatial planning analyses for a region:

1.Weighted Visibility Calculation
We produce a map graduating the region into areas showing the number of inhabitants influenced visually by WYGs at a certain hub height taking the population density and landscapecharacteristics into account.

 2. Conflict Check Calculation
We produce a map showing the possible areas for WTGs within the region taking into account fullfillment of legislative demands where 1) all restrictions are fulfilled, 2) exemptions are needed and 3) more "soft" recommendations are not fulfilled.
 3. Wind Resource Weighted Planning
We produce a map identifying the best-suited sites within the region weighting the wind resource against restriction levels, which can be obtained from the calculations mentioned above or based on other "soft" restrictions like e.g. more or less environmental sensitive regions.
